3D & 4D Ultrasound Services
A Woman's Place offers both 3D and 4D ultrasound services for our patients. 3D ultrasound scans allow us to see three-dimension images, while 4D ultrasounds allow us to "live stream" real-time video. We use ultrasound technology for pregnancy updates, find causes of pelvic pain, check for ovarian cysts, find causes of abnormal vaginal bleeding, look for any menstrual problems, and other health reasons. How To Prepare For Your Ultrasound
If you will be having a transabdominal or transvaginal ultrasound, we ask that you come to our office with a full bladder. We may ask you to drink about 4 to 6 glasses of water an hour prior to your exam and ultrasound. Right before your ultrasound, we may ask you to empty your bladder.
